Looking for new boots? What should you look for.
Here are the basics.
Blisters, sore or sweaty feet, tiredness. Just some of the problems people have after a days walk. But how do you avoid these problems? At the end of the day, shoes need to fit properly, not just fit your feet, but also fit the type of walking you're doing.
So what do shoe do?
Or better put, what do your feet do during a days' walking? Your feet have two functions when walking. Firstly, create contact with the ground. Secondly, provide posture for your whole body. Think of your feet as the foundations for the rest of your skeleton. If your feet are collapsed, then your whole posture will be effected. The skeleton can't support itself and so the muscles need to do it. Causing you to use more energy.
